Another great summer at the Nabe supported by San Francisco Department of Children, Youth & Their Families, Metta Fund, The Golden State Warriors, Mayor’s Office of Housing/Community Development and Bridge Housing Development.
Our summer programming at the Nabe commenced on the 8th of June, followed by our Day of Play, on Friday June 19 from 11-4PM. It was a great success with over 225 young people in attendance for fun and games in the park.
Last month our teen youth program, Experiment In Diversity, experienced the great outdoors with an exciting overnight camp out at Point Reyes.
Numbers are up for attendance to both our Social Development Center and Senior Luncheon Program. We continue to develop additional programming for our seniors of all abilities on the Hill. Drop in for a delicious well balanced lunch and fun conversations with your peers in the Fraser Hall at the Nabe between 11am and 1pm (Lunch is served at 12 noon).
Summer in the City with more than 112 child participants, with a daily attendance of 87 kids will culminate Friday July 31 2015 with an end of summer Talent Show; Featuring a Back to School Backpack Give Away sponsored by the Golden State Warriors.
Please post if you had a positive experience at the NABE!
